Description
Lee County's County Lands Department is seeking a motivated professional to become part of our team. As a Property Acquisition Assistant, you will play a key role in managing property files, supporting real estate transactions, maintaining inventory records, and keeping essential systems and data organized. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative work, mapping/GIS tasks, and direct involvement in real estate processes. If you're detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and ready to support meaningful community projects, we'd love to meet you.

Minimum Requirements
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to:
High School diploma or GED
Three (3) years experience in real estate, geographic information systems (GIS), administrative support, or closely related area
Valid Florida drivers license with acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Familiarity with GIS or mapping tools, including map editing and interpretation
Knowledge of local zoning, land use, surveying, or Florida real estate procedures
Experience in title examination, abstracting, or related real estate research
Supplemental Information
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

If you have retired from the Florida Retirement Pension plan you will not be eligible for renewed membership in either of the FRS retirement plan options. Retirees of the Investment Plan are eligible for renewed membership in the Investment Plan only. FRS reemployment rules apply for both.
