Property Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Property Accountant to join one of the leading commercial real estate investment firms in the San Diego area. This role will partner with a dynamic team in the day to day accounting operations.ResponsibilitiesHandle day‑to‑day accounting for a property portfolio, including payables, cash activity, journal entries, and monthly reporting.Prepare monthly financial statements and internal reports using accrual accounting.Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and supporting schedules.Manage tenant ledger activity, refunds, adjustments, and payables processing.Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records.Prepare funding requests and recurring reporting for financial partners.Assist with budgets, owner distributions, tax/insurance tracking, and compliance.Support property management teams and assist with special projects as needed.RequirementsDegree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate or property management.Strong understanding of accrual accounting and proficiency with property accounting software (Yardi preferred).Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.Experience with in the commercial real estate industry.#J-18808-Ljbffr
