Description: Our client is currently seeking a Proofreader

3 plus month W2 Contract, no C2C

Location: Philadelphia, PA onsite 1 day a week

    Position: Medicare Marketing QA Specialist

    Department: Medicare Marketing

    Position Summary

    The Medicare Marketing Proofreader is an experienced, detail‑oriented proofreader responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and quality of web, print, and multimedia marketing materials. These materials are developed both internally and through external vendor partnerships and must meet applicable regulatory, branding, and quality standards.

    This role plays a critical part in supporting compliant Medicare marketing communications by reviewing content for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements.


    Key Responsibilities

    Ensure that all marketing materials meet required quality and compliance standards, including:

    • Verification that all benefit- and product-related information is present, accurate, and compliant with CMS Medicare marketing and communication requirements
    • Validation of business-related details such as codes, phone numbers, offers, disclaimers, and effective dates
    • Review for accuracy in spelling, grammar, punctuation, font usage, text styling, spacing, and overall formatting
    • Confirmation that all required revisions from relevant subject matter experts have been accurately applied
    • Enforcement of established style, branding, and communication guidelines
    • Verification that all required legal disclosures and regulatory language are present and accurate, in alignment with CMS marketing guidelines and readiness checklists

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Maintain and apply knowledge of organizational communication standards, writing styles, and tone to ensure consistency and product integrity
    • Collaborate effectively with Medicare Marketing team members and follow direction from project stakeholders
    • Use multiple reference sources to validate and confirm the accuracy of content and data
    • Support team workflows by meeting strict deadlines in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment

    Qualifications

    • Experience providing quality assurance or proofreading support for complex, highly regulated products; experience in health insurance, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environments is strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated experience proofreading variable content formats, including print PDFs, matrix tables, and data tables
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
    • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a related discipline
