We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Proofreader to ensure the accuracy and quality of our written content. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors, along with the ability to maintain consistency and enhance readability across various types of documents.

Location: Chicago, IL
Role: Proofreader
Work Schedule: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for proofreading (spelling, grammar, punctuation, variable factors — i.e., premiums, benefits, etc.) advertising and mandated assets related to Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, Medicare Supplement, and MMAI.
• Health insurance experience is preferred.
• Documents will range from one page to 75+ pages and may include variations of the same document.

Requirements:

• Must have equipment for hybrid work or be available to work fully onsite if equipment is not available.
• Prior experience in proofreading, preferably with health insurance or Medicare-related materials.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent command of English grammar and punctuation.
