Client in Greenville, SC is looking to fill a Project Support Specialist/Representative 

 

Project Support Specialist/Representative

Pay Range: $26.45 - $31.25 hr. (Depends on Experience)

Hours:  8am-5pm (M-F)

 

This client is seeking a highly organized, eager, and self-driven Project Support Representative to support our construction equipment, tools, and supply rental/sales operations. This role ensures fast, accurate order processing and exceptional service for contractors and project teams. The ideal candidate takes initiative, works independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience or strong familiarity with construction equipment, tools, or jobsite supplies is highly beneficial.

What You’ll Do

  1. Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate rental and sales records

  2. Provide quotes for equipment rentals, tool rentals, and supply/material sales

  3. Process orders and coordinate fulfillment with operations, dispatch, and yard teams

  4. Locate and source equipment, tools, and consumables from internal branches and suppliers

  5. Track deliveries, pickups, transfers, and allocate transportation costs

  6. Prepare invoices for rentals, sales, consumables, and related services

  7. Resolve customer issues related to billing, delivery, equipment availability, or service requests

  8. Maintain proactive, professional communication with contractors and field teams

  9. Support the organization’s safety standards and HSE documentation requirements

  10. Work independently to manage priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

hat You Bring

  1. A strong eagerness to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work

  2. The ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment without constant direction

  3. Experience or knowledge of construction equipment, tools, and job site supplies is highly beneficial and strongly preferred

  4. Experience in equipment rental, construction supply, tool rental, or industrial distribution is a plus

  5. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)

  6. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

  7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  8. Professional communication and customer service skills&
