As a Consulting Project Specialist in our dynamic Tech Services industry, you will play a critical role in driving our projects to success. This role will offer you the opportunity to work on exciting short-term and long-term projects, and provide invaluable administrative support to our team. You will be an integral part of our department, assisting in the implementation and tracking of our projects. Your expertise in project coordination will be highly valued and will contribute significantly to our operations.

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Project Specialist, your responsibilities will be diverse and challenging. You will provide coordination and oversight of project functions such as planning, organizing, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet objectives. You will be responsible for creating project plans and timelines, following up with business owners of project-related tasks, and providing accurate reports of project budgets and schedules. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you tackle delays or cost overruns, ensuring that projects are delivered as close to budget and on time as possible. You will also assist in the production of timely and accurate reports and the formulation of recommendations and research on assigned subjects. In addition, you will be responsible for establishing constructive working relationships with members of the departmental staff and conveying complex problems and proposals in both formal and informal settings.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3+ years of project-related experience. Experience or exposure to healthcare applications is required, and healthcare experience is preferred. You should have demonstrated professional experience at a similar level of complexity, including responsibility for the management of multiple or major projects. Excellent skills in the use of personal computer software programs including but not limited to MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are essential. You should be detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently with minimal direction. Your ability to organize multiple tasks with conflicting priorities and deliver desired results on or below budget while meeting deadlines will be crucial to this role. You should also have skills in analyzing information/situations, defining problems, articulating logical recommendations, and recognizing alternatives and their implications.
