What You'll Do as a Construction Safety Manager
You'll lead safety where it matters most: in the field. This role is hands-on, people-focused, and critical to protecting our crews and strengthening our jobsite culture every day.
As a Construction Safety Manager, you'll:
- Lead field safety operations across multiple project sites.
- Audit jobsites, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions.
- Support Superintendents, Foremen, and crews as a hands-on safety leader.
- Enforce Corporate Safety & Health Programs and regulatory compliance.
- Manage safety training, certifications, orientations, and documentation.
- Develop site-specific safety plans and lead regulatory inspections.
- Deliver equipment and jobsite safety training as needed.
- Report safety performance and trends to the Director of Safety.
What You'll Need to Succeed as a Construction Safety Manager
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence crews in the field.
- Professional, confident communication at all levels of the team: from field to leadership.
- Working knowledge of
- OSHA
- MSHA
- Workers' Compensation
- DOT
- EPA regulations
- Ability to work in fast-paced, active construction environments.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Experience & Education
- 5+ years of safety experience in construction or industrial environments.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, or at least 5+ years of hands-on experience.
Pay & Benefits
