Experience managing large-scale data/cloud transformations, focusing on GCP data engineering (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage). Responsibilities include managing Agile workflows, defining data pipeline requirements, optimizing cost/performance, and driving migration from on-premise to GCP.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in data engineering and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy robust data pipelines and analytics solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities·
Project Delivery: Oversee full-lifecycle development of scalable GCP data architectures (batch and streaming).

GCP Expertise: Guide development using
BigQuery,
Dataflow,
Pub/Sub,
Cloud Storage, and
Composer.
·
Agile Management: Facilitate sprints, manage backlogs in Jira/Confluence, and remove impediments.
·
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to define requirements and data governance.
·
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data system performance, cost, and security.
·
Data Migration: Lead initiatives for migrating on-premise data environments to GCP.
Required Qualifications·Experience: 10+ years in IT Project/Program Management.·GCP/Cloud Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with GCP data products.·
Technical Understanding: Solid grasp of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and warehousing.

Methodology: Strong experience with Agile/Scrum.
·
Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications· Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification.
· Background in software development (Python/SQL)
