We are also looking for a Project Manager who can Provide leadership and guidance on all aspects of multi-discipline engineering projects from concept to completion including overall safety quality risk engineering procurement construction environmental compliance and financials.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the projects life cycle.
Leverage existing client relationships create new client relationships and focus on repeat work within each client account.
Support business strategy for developing new business opportunities
Work to proactively identify and position Burns & McDonnell for upcoming projects and opportunities.
Provide direction as part of the sales team for furthering Burns & McDonnells position in the industry through events conferences and contacts.
Provide guidance and industry feedback or trends to the water leadership team.
Provide mentorship as well as formal and informal training for the project team.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering construction management or related degree from accredited program required
Minimum of 7 years of related experience 15 years preferred in design engineering.
Previous consulting and project management experience preferred.
Professional Registration in the state of Texas ability to obtain Texas registration is acceptable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced demanding work environment ability to work overtime on short notice.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office
Ability to work collaboratively with others owners contractors engineers designers in a multi-disciplined project team environment to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives.
