Project Manager

• Duration: 2-year contract
• Pay rate: $70-$90/hr (depending on experience level)

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple high-visibility, complex projects in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. This individual will be responsible for driving projects from initiation through implementation, managing schedules, risks, communications, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders
• Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, communications plans, requirements tracking, risk logs, and status reports
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and issues
• Present project status updates to stakeholders, management, and senior leadership
• Support business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Balance competing priorities while managing schedule, risk, quality, and business objectives
• Build strong working relationships and effectively influence teams within a matrixed organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; business, engineering, computer science, or related field preferred
• PMP certification required
• 8+ years of project management experience leading complex projects in a matrixed environment
• Experience developing project plans, schedules, communications plans, and executive-level status reporting
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, PMBOK methodologies, risk management, and process improvement
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving projects to completion
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA
• Experience managing IT or technology-related projects

Additional Information

• Hybrid schedule with approximately 2–3 days onsite per week
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Multi-stage interview process including virtual and leadership interviews
