We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee all aspects of utility-scale BESS projects from early development through construction readiness. This role involves advanced technical, financial, and regulatory planning to optimize project scope, risk allocation, and financial feasibility across complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Lead pre-construction planning and optimization for BESS projects.
- Coordinate with project development teams to ensure timely project schedules.
- Manage project variables including environmental, regulatory, and land acquisition.
- Develop technical scope to enhance project feasibility.
- Support negotiations and jurisdictional requirements for project agreements.
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement for financial models.
- Present financial models and manage executive budget approvals.
- Negotiate and execute commercial contracts for critical services.
- Communicate with leadership, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and communities.
- Ensure seamless project handover to construction teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong project management abilities.
Preferences
- Experience in renewable energy projects, particularly electricity markets and battery projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Six Sigma experience.
