Applications Programming Team Lead
Location: Remote
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Applications Programming Team Lead to support a distributed development team building and maintaining custom web?based applications. This role combines hands?on technical expertise with team leadership, delivery oversight, and collaboration across technical and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team of remote developers, including workload planning, task assignment, and delivery tracking.
• Ensure development timelines are met and deliverables align with technical standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and recommend improvements.
• Participate in requirements sessions, code reviews, testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Provide regular status updates and technical reporting to leadership.
• Support application development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Document technical processes, data flows, and system specifications.
Required Qualifications
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to obtain and maintain required access authorization.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing custom web?based applications.
• 3+ years of experience leading or coordinating remote development teams.
• Experience with Agile development practices.
• Experience with DevOps tools for workload planning and delivery management.
• Experience with cloud?based application development.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience leading contract development teams.
• Experience with modern front?end frameworks.
• Experience with back?end development using .NET technologies.
• Strong experience with SQL?based databases.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment.
