Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction to closeout, emphasizing clear communication, efficient resource allocation, safety compliance, and effective change management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

· Project Development & Strategy: Lead architectural metal projects from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with client goals, technical specifications, and organizational objectives. Develop detailed project plans, covering scope, schedule, budget, and resources.

· Team Leadership: Oversee project teams, including superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors, ensuring seamless execution and a collaborative, high-performance environment.

· Resource Allocation: Optimize labor, materials, and equipment to meet deadlines and budgets, and anticipate team needs.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

· Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication regarding project progress, milestones, challenges, and any scope changes to ensure client satisfaction and foster lasting client relationships.

· Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. pre-construction, fabrication, and safety) and external stakeholders (e.g. subcontractors, vendors) to ensure alignment on project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.

· Change Management: Manage project scope changes, ensuring documentation, client alignment, and clear communication of schedule and budget impacts.

Safety & Quality Management:

· Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards throughout all project phases. Work closely with the safety team to perform risk assessments, conduct safety audits, and promote a safety-first culture on all job sites.

· Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all work meets required specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety adherence.

Financial & Schedule Management:

· Budget Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure projects remain within financial constraints. Review and analyze financial reports regularly, adjusting as necessary to address cost overruns or savings opportunities.

· Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and any delays are promptly communicated and mitigated. Monitor project timelines to proactively address potential delays.

· Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including safety, financial, technical, and schedule risks. Maintain a risk register and develop contingency plans for unforeseen challenges.

Reporting & Documentation:

· Progress Reports: Prepare and present regular project status updates to senior management.

· Documentation: Ensure all project documentation—contracts, change orders, schedules, meeting minutes, safety records, etc.—are complete, accurate, and properly filed for future reference.

· Post-Project Closeout: Lead the project closeout process, ensuring all deliverables are completed, documentation is finalized, and any punch-list items are addressed. Participate in lessons-learned meetings to evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications / Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred) or minimum of 5 years of experience managing architectural projects or construction projects.

· Experience in managing project teams and working with diverse stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.

Skills & Competencies:

What We Offer:
