UNM's Clinical & Translational Science Center (CTSC), as a member of the national NIH CTSA Consortium, is committed to bettering health by streamlining science, and improving the conduct, quality, and dissemination of research from laboratories to clinical practices, and out into communities. CTSC's vision is to catalyze scientific discovery into improved health by enabling high quality clinical and translational research (CTR)-locally, regionally, and nationally. The CTSC provides facilities and resources to enable investigators to successfully conduct their clinical research and further their research careers. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as the Sr Program Manager overseeing special projects and high-level administrative and strategic functions for CTSC Leadership.
In 2025, the CTSC received NIH funding for renewal of its CTSA and formed the Southwest Center for Advancing Clinical and Translational Innovation (SW CACTI), which is a partnership between the University of New Mexico and the University of Arizona. SW CACTI is committed to using our capabilities to foster collaborative research efforts throughout New Mexico and Arizona. We seek to reduce barriers to clinical and translational science for both investigators and participants so that we can serve the entire research community.
The Sr Project Manager of special projects will support large CTSC initiatives in translational science, which include SW CACTI's annual internal advisory board and bi-annual external advisory board meetings. The ideal candidate will have both scientific expertise and be a detail-oriented person with project management skills.
