Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to oversee the progression of projects from order intake through to commissioning. This role involves managing communications with both external customers and internal production teams while keeping a close eye on project budgets and expenditures. You will participate in project milestone production meetings and lead equipment final inspections as intermediate quality checks.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Solid experience in project management within the manufacturing sector.
• OEM equipment design experience.
• Project management experience in machinery.
• Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to read/interpret plan drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work under deadlines on multiple projects.
• Experience in OEM equipment design and manufacturing is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Engineering or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience with municipal and/or government contracts for mechanical equipment is a plus.

Work Environment

Join a team of four Project Managers reporting to the VP of Sales, primarily focusing on water treatment projects. Our work involves creating machinery for water treatment facilities with customers ranging from towns, cities, counties, to small countries. While the majority of our business revolves around wastewater machinery, we also cater to a small textile machinery division.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spartanburg, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.02 - $43.27/hr.
