This role is ideal for a project manager who can balance technical detail with commercial awareness, while confidently managing multiple automation or capital equipment projects at once.

What your future day will look like:

Lead multiple automation or capital equipment projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, timeline, and budget
Build and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and financial forecasts
Coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning responsibilities and driving accountability
Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
Manage scope changes, including documentation, approvals, and customer communication
Track project costs, monitor performance, and ensure profitability targets are met
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
Communicate project updates clearly, including risks, delays, and opportunities
Collaborate with global teams across multiple locations
Ensure all work meets contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements
Provide regular reporting on milestones, financials, and overall project health

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:

B.S. in Engineering or a related field (preferred)
2+ years of project management experience within capital equipment, machinery, or industrial systems
3+ years of experience in automation or manufacturing environments (automotive preferred)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget goals
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or similar)
Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office tools
Solid understanding of financials, budgets, and contract management
Ability to manage scope changes and customer expectations effectively
Willingness to travel (~30%), including international travel; valid passport required or obtainable
PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma certification will be a huge plus!
