Senior Project Manager Salary Range: $145k to $165kPosition Summary The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of complex, enterprise-level projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout. This role manages large-scale initiatives involving healthcare processes, clinical and business applications, and supporting technology infrastructure.
The Senior Project Manager operates in a matrixed environment, influencing cross-functional teams and ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives. This position requires strong communication skills, advanced planning capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities. Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple complex IT and healthcare-related projects
Define and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
Develop key project documentation (e.g., project charters, work breakdown structures, statements of work, project plans)
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and at defined quality standards
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes
Provide regular status reporting, dashboards, and executive-level communications
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
Lead cross-functional teams through influence in a matrixed environment
Oversee third-party vendors and implementation partners as applicable
Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies (PMO, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and reporting artifacts
Support continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and governance
Participate in internal meetings, training, and organizational initiatives
Contribute to team development, including participation in hiring and mentoring activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT projects from initiation through closeout
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities
Experience working with enterprise systems and applications (e.g., ERP, EHR/EMR, ITSM, analytics, collaboration tools)
Strong experience in risk, issue, and dependency management
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, insurance, or similar)
