Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Restoration & Mitigation to oversee residential and commercial restoration projects from initial loss through completion. This role manages water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage projects while ensuring quality, safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, restoration knowledge, and experience working with insurance claims.
Project Manager will be issued a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
• Manage restoration projects from emergency response through final closeout
• Perform site inspections and document damages
• Develop scopes of work using DocuSketch, Mitigate or similar software
• Coordinate mitigation, restoration, and reconstruction crews and subcontractors
• Oversee water extraction, drying, demolition and cleaning work
• Track schedules, budgets, and change orders to ensure project profitability
• Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters
• Maintain accurate job files including photos, daily logs, and documentation
• Ensure projects meet IICRC standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
• 3–5 years of experience in restoration, mitigation, or construction project management
• Strong knowledge of water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration
• Experience working with insurance claims and adjusters preferred
• Proficiency in restoration job management software
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license
Preferred Certifications
• IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT)
Physical Requirements
• Ability to work in damaged or hazardous environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and emergency on‑call rotations as needed
• Ability to travel to job sites
