Description
Position Summary The Project Manager owns the day-to-day planning, execution, and financial performance of multiple foundation drilling projects at a time. This is the foundational project-leadership role in the Project Manager career path: the Project Manager takes full ownership of budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client relationships on their assigned project(s), working closely with the site Superintendent to translate the workplan into results in the field. Project Managers who consistently deliver their projects safely, on schedule, and on budget, and who demonstrate broader business and leadership judgment, are developed for advancement into the Senior Project Manager role, where they take on responsibility for a full portfolio of concurrent projects and begin mentoring other Project Managers. Activities / Responsibilities / Essential Duties Project Planning & Execution Confer with the Senior Project Manager and site Superintendent to outline the workplan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority for assigned project(s). Plan, coordinate, inspect, and direct operations for assigned construction projects, directing the efficient use of manpower, materials, and equipment. Provide project schedules and resource loading, and remain responsible for keeping assigned projects on schedule. Acquire all pertinent permits required for assigned project(s) and ensure design changes are properly documented. Budget & Financial Management Maintain responsibility for the construction budget on assigned project(s). Monitor project expenses and work closely with the Senior Project Manager to control costs and maximize profitability. Create and review job orders and change orders, and their estimates, for authorization. Contracts & Bid Support Support bid preparation and review specifications, drawings, budgets, schedules, submittals, and RFIs for assigned project(s). Coordinate contract matters with the help of the Senior Project Manager and legal support as needed. Preview all drawings and job orders prior to delivery to clients or for construction. Safety & Quality Enforce and promote a culture of safety on assigned project sites, ensuring team members adhere to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and project-specific requirements. Ensure assigned projects are inspected for work quality, design requirements, and assurance, and that work meets project specifications and client expectations. Prepare and follow through on final job acceptance, ensuring punch list items are resolved. Team Leadership Provide direct supervision, guidance, and mentorship to Assistant Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Field Managers on assigned project(s). Provide training and guidance to crew members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Reporting & Communication Conduct project status meetings; coordinate schedule, status, and budget between the contractor and client; confirm milestones and job needs. Keep accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours worked. Maintain open and effective communication with Superintendents, engineers, and other stakeholders. Ensure customer needs and issues are resolved and communicated in an effective and timely manner. Provide regular progress updates to the Senior Project Manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Working knowledge of foundation drilling techniques, shoring installation, grouting, equipment operation, and construction site management. Construction industry experience with a solid understanding of the project lifecycle from bid through closeout. Ability to negotiate change orders and develop sound contractual arguments. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced field environment. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy under time constraints. Ability to work independently. Strong communication and organization skills are required. Proficiency in project management tools and basic computer software. Must be proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
