Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Architectural Project Manager to join the firm as part of a Retail group within our Interiors sector. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities
Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a retail project
Coordinate all phases of the design process in full life cycle projects
Translate concepts and information into images
Prepare and coordinate all project deliverables
Manage contract administration responsibilities
Coordinate with a variety of consultants
Provide leadership to staff/team
Manage client relations and ensure client satisfaction
Function in a team lead capacity, while working on multiple, challenging projects
Assist with creation and management of project schedules
Develop & present appropriate technical solutions to stakeholders
Assist with leading project studio team members, leveraging strengths, and providing mentorship
Work proactively to resolve issues that arise between project, design, and technical objectives of the project, in coordination with Project Manager
Execute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documents
Seek innovation in design solutions in an ongoing spirit of curiosity and increased project performance
Demonstrate understanding of appropriate industry standards and construction practice
Maintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and products
Attend and conduct presentations
Apply knowledge of construction methods and timelines
Leveraging professional network to grow retail sector (Business Development)
Deep understanding of retail drivers from both the retailer and landlord perspective
Qualifications
This role is an in-office position
Degree from a NAAB accredited architecture program or licensure
20+ years of experience in commercial design; Retail experience expected
Display strong design portfolio showing strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills, and detailing
Revit proficiency and technical excellence
Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together
Acumen for how things are built and constructability, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget
Understanding of building and accessibility codes
Experience coordinating with a variety of consultants and contractors
Interest in sustainable design
Professional registration
Effective organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail
Flexible attitude
Ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment
Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading projects teams
Ability to translate design concepts and information into images
Confident presentation ability

This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.

Base Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually - Boston locations only
