DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial restoration projects from initial loss through final completion. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing property damage restoration, mitigation, reconstruction, and insurance-related repair projects.
The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating field crews, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client communication. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage restoration projects from initial inspection through final completion
- Coordinate mitigation, reconstruction, and repair activities across multiple job sites
- Schedule and oversee field crews, subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries
- Review project scopes, estimates, budgets, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Maintain regular communication with customers, insurance representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Monitor project progress, resolve field issues, and ensure work stays on schedule and within budget
- Process change orders, project updates, job documentation, and progress photos
- Assist with estimating, insurance supplements, invoicing, and project closeout when needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, project requirements, and industry best practices
- Deliver a positive customer experience through proactive communication and quality project execution
Requirements- Previous experience managing restoration projects is required
- Strong understanding of mitigation, reconstruction, water, fire, storm, or property damage restoration processes
- Experience managing multiple active projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to coordinate customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel effectively
- Familiarity with project estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Must be located near New Hampton, NY or able to commute to project sites
