Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director, Region 4 Expanded Learning Programs, the Project Manager, Region 4 Expanded Learning Programs position supports regional initiatives designed to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of expanded learning programs. The Project Manager supports implementation of the Statewide System of Support for Expanded Learning approved work plan through professional learning, technical assistance, project coordination, and data management. Responsibilities include facilitating professional learning for frontline expanded learning staff, supporting Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) efforts, coordinating department-wide data systems, and maintaining regional data resources used to inform planning and service delivery. This position works collaboratively with local educational agencies (LEAs), community-based organizations, county offices of education, and the California Department of Education (CDE) to support expanded learning programs throughout Region 4. This position will be in person at ACOE, with some travel (approximately 15% time) to various locations throughout Region 4 and California. Requirements / Qualifications
Education & Experience: • Valid California Preliminary or Clear Teaching Credential, or Career Technical Education Credential (Required) • Bachelor's Degree (Required) • Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in education, expanded learning, youth development, or a related field within a school district, county office of education, community-based organization, or similar setting (Required) • Experience leading or supporting organizational, district, school, or program improvement efforts (Desirable) • Experience managing After School Education and Safety (ASES) and/or 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grants and supporting expanded learning program quality improvement efforts in school settings (Desirable) •Familiarity with expanded learning program implementation and coordination of multiple funding streams in school settings (Desirable) •Experience facilitating professional learning, coaching, or technical assistance for educators, expanded learning staff, or youth development professionals (Desirable) •Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record Read Job Description for a complete list of job requirements and experience required
