Description

Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

Manage facility improvement, renovation, and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout. Develop project schedules, track milestones, and coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders and external contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor project budgets, review proposals, track expenditures, and manage cost controls.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates regarding schedule, scope, budget, and project risks.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contractor submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Assist with project planning related to capital expenditures and long-term facility upgrades.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in project management and coordination.
  • Strong mechanical and engineering skills.
  • Experience in project engineering and construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate"s or Bachelor"s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Construction, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction management, facilities project management, building engineering, or commercial construction.
  • Experience managing contractors, schedules, budgets, and facility-related projects.
  • Working knowledge of commercial building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Valid driver"s license required.

Work Environment

This position requires working onsite 5 days a week from 6:30am to 2:30pm. You will be part of a team in one of the most respected construction management firms, allowing you to work on complex, high-profile projects while developing your career alongside industry-leading professionals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
