We are seeking a Project Manager PM to join our Electrification and Automation EA and Protection and Automation P&A team. The position is hybrid based in Wendell NC with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in the office.

Youll make a difference by

As a Project Manager you will lead projects from initiation through closeout ensuring successful execution in a dynamic matrix-style organization. This role offers significant growth opportunities aligned with Siemens mission to foster a growth mindset.

Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion.

Manage the cost schedule quality and technical performance of the assigned projects.

Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Lead and drive multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams including engineering operations vendor management logistics and services to ensure successful project execution.

Provide regular updates to team management and PMO on work performed plans budget and overall status.

Identify project problems and obtain solutions such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

Proactive Risk identification and Mitigation.

Manage customer expectations across project cycle and lead single and multi-product medium voltage solutions projects.

Direct diagnostics with the ability to determine root cause and corrective actions.

Youll win us over by having the following qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college.

3 years hands-on project management expertise including contract management and P&L responsibility

Expertise with Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Project

Valid US Drivers License

Ability to travel up to 20 domestic and international

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree or training in mechanical or electrical engineering

Experience in the power distribution industry managing medium voltage portfolios.

PMP certification

Basic knowledge and understanding of power distribution ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and customer specifications.

Experience in identifying and implementing cost savings measures within project

Commitment to develop drive and manage projects in a highly competitive market

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex issues to multi-level audiences and effectively communicate progress status and issues to internal and external Customers

Ability to interpret and report results to senior management as well as customer

Demonstrated ability in contract and change management.
