We are seeking a Project Manager – Prefabrication to lead and coordinate prefabrication projects from bid to closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards. You’ll collaborate with clients, internal teams, and vendors to drive successful project outcomes and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full project lifecycle: bid requests, estimates, proposals, kickoff, execution, and closeout.
Review and prepare estimates based on labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
Establish project budgets, schedules, and staffing plans in collaboration with internal teams.
Oversee material procurement, vendor subcontracts, and purchase orders.
Lead project meetings, assign responsibilities, and track progress to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
Provide technical guidance, resolve issues, and manage change orders.
Coordinate compliance with government regulations and quality programs (ASME/AISC).
Ensure timely shipments, accurate reporting, and prompt payment resolution.
Document project performance and recommend best practices for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or 10+ years of relevant experience.
Strong background in project management within prefabrication, piping, or structural design.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with SpoolFab or Tekla/Tekla EPM a plus.
Knowledge of ASME and/or AISC fabrication quality programs preferred.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a customer-focused approach.
