The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $100,800 - $120,500

Job Summary
The Project Manager is a key member of the O&M Integration and Implementation team and will provide leadership and oversight during the planning, procurement, execution and close-out phases of Operations-related projects. This role will be responsible for the scheduling of FEL gate activities related to the operational fleet (Field Operations) or OEM project activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive work experience, along with institutional knowledge and understanding of onshore operational assets, critical path scheduling and milestone activities as well as managing operational improvement initiatives driven by best practices and changing business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage schedules assigned on all critical path milestone objectives for related O&M campaign and project activities with the various stakeholders such as Plant Managers Regional Directors, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other O&M teams as needed. Ensure high levels of coordination and awareness across the groups.
- Manage projects during the procurement, planning, execution, and close-out phases to ensure that safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals are met.
- Provide project management of deliverables including development, scope, budget and governance, working with O&M or other teams as necessary.
- Provide support to develop and manage contracts with O&M teams, as needed.
- Manage and maintain risk registers as appropriate for the project.
- Lead a team of internal and external professionals who provide technical expertise and support through project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with the various stakeholders to support management of all necessary purchasing processes in SAP; including requisitions, purchase orders, change orders, invoice management and if needed, quarterly budgeting.
- Maintain a focus on project budgets for cash flow and potential risks.
- Provide weekly and monthly status reports to the Company's senior management on project progress and schedule, capital budget forecasting and issues affecting projects and/or maintenance as necessary.
- Perform other O&M related tasks as requested or needed.
- Have a basic knowledge and understanding of Project Compliance requirements as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science, business or other related fields, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in project management within energy, power, utility or related industries.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with all levels of management, operations staff, and technical personnel in an easy to understand yet precise format.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with strong focus on teamwork and collaboration with a broad range of work groups.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office; Primavera or MS Project scheduling tools; and SAP cost management software.
- High energy and ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with concurrent scheduling demands.
- Ability to travel 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in or around operating wind and solar plants, including substations or collector distribution systems is preferred, as it relates to the description of the job.
- Professional certification in project management
