Description

The Construction Project Manager will:

  • Manage projects from preconstruction through final closeout
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities
  • Administer contracts, subcontract agreements, and project documentation
  • Coordinate design, engineering, and construction activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead project meetings and communicate progress to key stakeholders
  • Monitor project financials and ensure adherence to budget objectives
  • Identify potential project risks and implement solutions to maintain schedule and cost goals
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project reporting
  • Ensure compliance with quality control and safety standards
  • Coordinate project closeout activities, punch list completion, and turnover documentation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution

Profile

The successful Construction Project Manager will have:

  • 5-10 years of construction project management experience preferred
  • Open to emerging Project Managers with at least 1 year of experience independently leading projects
  • Proven ability to manage projects with minimal oversight
  • Strong ownership mentality and accountability for project outcomes
  • Experience with design-build delivery methods preferred
  • Technical construction, building systems, or MEP-related experience is highly desirable
  • Experience working in regulated, occupied, or operational environments is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred, but not required
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Additional industry certifications are a plus
  • Proficiency with project management and construction software
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
