Description

The Multifamily Construction Project Manager will:

  • Lead multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Administer contracts with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain project schedules while communicating updates to project stakeholders
  • Coordinate and oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Manage procurement activities and subcontractor buyout processes
  • Ensure compliance with permits, inspections, and applicable regulations
  • Review and approve pay applications, invoices, and subcontractor requisitions
  • Drive quality assurance and quality control initiatives throughout construction
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain project objectives
  • Coordinate project turnover, closeout documentation, and warranty activities
  • Work closely with field leadership to ensure successful project execution

Profile

The Multifamily Construction Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within the construction industry
  • Experience managing ground-up multifamily construction projects valued at $5 million or greater
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
  • Experience with project management and construction software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
