    Position SummaryLynk Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the planning, design, coordination, and execution of mechanical engineering projects across commercial, healthcare, education, civic, hospitality, industrial, and mission critical markets. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project teams, maintaining project budgets and schedules, and ensuring the successful delivery of high‑quality engineering solutions.Location: On‑site, Salt Lake City, UtahEssential ResponsibilitiesManage mechanical engineering projects from concept through construction completionLead project planning, scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and client communicationOversee the design and coordination of mechanical systems, including:HVAC systemsPlumbing systemsHydronic systemsVentilation systemsCentral utility systemsEnergy‑efficient and sustainable system solutionsCoordinate multidisciplinary teams including architectural, structural, electrical, technology, and contractor partnersServe as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teamsReview engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documentsMonitor project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverable qualitySupport proposal development, business development, and client relationship managementParticipate in construction administration activities including submittal reviews, RFIs, field observations, and project meetingsMentor and support engineers, designers, BIM modelers, and project staffEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company quality expectationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure6+ years of mechanical engineering experience preferredPrevious project management experience within the AEC industry preferredProficiency in Revit and AutoCAD preferredStrong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building systemsFamiliarity with applicable building codes, energy codes, and industry standardsStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsPreferred ExperienceCommercial and institutional building designHealthcare or mission critical facilitiesSustainable and energy‑efficient designBIM coordination and multidisciplinary project deliveryConstruction administration and field coordinationClient development and project financial managementDesired CharacteristicsStrong leadership and project management abilitiesClient‑focused mindsetDetail‑oriented and organizedAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyCollaborative and team‑oriented approachStrong problem‑solving and communication skillsDesire to mentor and develop team membersWork Environment & Physical RequirementsPrimarily office‑based with periodic travel to project sites and client meetingsAbility to work at a computer for extended periodsOccasional field visits to active construction sites may be required#J-18808-Ljbffr
