Role Summary
The Project Manager (Market Readiness) leads the planning and development of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) deployments. This role focuses on feasibility, estimating, design coordination, permitting, and construction readiness to ensure projects are fully prepared for successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead pre-construction planning for FTTH deployments across assigned markets
Coordinate engineering and design to ensure complete, accurate, and constructible OSP designs
Manage permitting strategy and approvals with local jurisdictions and utilities
Support contractor and vendor selection and scope alignment
Build and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies prior to construction
Ensure full construction readiness (designs, permits, materials, contractors)
Lead project handoff to construction teams
Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in telecommunications or utility infrastructure
Experience in FTTH planning, permitting, and estimating preferred
Strong knowledge of OSP construction methods (aerial and underground)
Familiarity with municipal permitting and right-of-way coordination
Strong financial, analytical, and project management skills
