Description
The Project Manager is responsible for:
- Managing mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Establishing project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and performance goals
- Managing project financials, procurement, contracts, and change orders
- Leading project teams and coordinating field operations
- Maintaining client, subcontractor, and consultant relationships
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and profitably
Profile
The right candidate has the following qualifications:
- 7-15+ years of progressive construction management experience
- Project experience: $5M - $30M +
- Ability to travel throughout New England
- Mechanical construction background required
- Heavy Industrial, Process Piping, Water/Wastewater, Manufacturing, Energy, Utility, or Infrastructure experience preferred
- Experience managing both Design-Build and Bid-Build projects
- Strong experience with: Budgeting and forecasting, Project scheduling, Change orders, Procurement, Staffing and resource management, Client relationship management, Working knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and building systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and business acumen
- Senior PM candidates should also bring: Business development experience, Pursuit strategy involvement, Proposal development, Estimating and negotiation experience, Multi-project leadership experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- OSHA 30, DOT Medical Card, Valid Drivers License
- Must pass background, MVR, and drug screen
