Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

This Project Manager role oversees utility and industrial construction projects from initial planning through final completion. You will coordinate all project activities, manage client relationships, ensure strict safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets while delivering exceptional service. The position is hands-on and highly visible, requiring regular presence both in the office and in the field, and offers the opportunity to support critical infrastructure projects and contribute directly to the organization's growth in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple utility and industrial construction projects simultaneously from planning through closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct routine site visits and field walkthroughs to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance.
  • Ensure all projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Review project documentation, reports, schedules, and subcontractor performance to ensure accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
  • Identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, and scheduling conflicts in a proactive manner.
  • Support permitting activities, procurement processes, and project closeout documentation as needed.
  • Foster strong client relationships through responsive communication and consistent, high-quality project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, field operations, and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment on project goals.

Essential Skills

  • 3-4 years of project management experience in utility, industrial, infrastructure, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling and budget oversight.
  • Demonstrated Health & Safety training and a strong commitment to safe work practices.
  • Proven experience coordinating field activities, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to both internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams toward project goals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including tools used for documentation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience using project management software to plan, track, and report on project progress.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in utility construction, transmission, power delivery, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Background in industrial construction or industrial maintenance project work.
  • Knowledge of permitting processes, construction methods, and site operations.
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or similar safety certifications.
  • Experience working on client-facing projects and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Interest in contributing to meaningful projects that enhance national and commercial infrastructure security.
  • Motivation to manage multimillion-dollar projects with significant visibility and responsibility.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, high-performance culture that values accountability and innovation.

Work Environment

This role is based in Las Vegas, NV, in a new office space located near the airport. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with specific hours to be determined. The position involves a blend of office-based planning and coordination work and regular field visits to active project sites. Travel is primarily local, with all project sites located within approximately one hour of the office, allowing for frequent on-site presence while maintaining a stable home base. You will work closely with engineering, field operations, and construction teams in a collaborative environment focused on high performance, safety, and innovation, and you will engage with modern project management software and technologies related to physical security and infrastructure protection.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
