Project Manager (IT) Senior

The ideal candidate brings extensive enterprise project management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects in regulated or highly matrixed environments. This role partners closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to drive strategic initiatives, manage risks, and ensure alignment across the organization.

Work Arrangement:Hybrid –3 days onsite, with the remaining days remote.

Conversion/Extension Opportunity:Yes, there is potential for both conversion and/or extension.
Business Hours:8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (local time) (Flexible).

Interview Process:3–4 rounds of virtual interviews conducted via Zoom (webcam required).

The Senior Project Manager leads large, high-impact, cross-functional initiatives and may oversee multiple concurrent projects of strategic importance to the enterprise. Beyond delivery excellence, this role serves as a trusted partner to senior leaders, a mentor to fellow project managers, and a driving force behind the continuous evolution of project delivery practices.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale, cross-functional IT initiatives from planning through execution while ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business objectives. This role partners closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to drive strategic initiatives, manage risks, and ensure alignment across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, complex, and strategically significant projects spanning multiple business units.
• Own end-to-end accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes.
• Direct cross-functional teams, vendors, and delivery partners to ensure cohesive execution.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for project risks, issues, and key decisions.
• Partner with senior leaders to clarify priorities, resolve conflicts, and maintain strategic alignment.
• Deliver executive-level status reporting, dashboards, and presentations that drive informed decision-making.
• Coach and mentor junior and experienced project managers, fostering a strong delivery culture.
• Champion the adoption and continuous improvement of VMO standards, metrics, and delivery frameworks.
• Contribute to portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource allocation discussions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive project management experience, including enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects in regulated or highly matrixed environments.
• Strong expertise across Agile, hybrid, and traditional (Waterfall) delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior leaders without direct authority.
• Advanced financial management, forecasting, and budget oversight skills.
• Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
