Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

About the Opportunity

Looking to recruit a Senior Delivery Lead to join CBCT. The successful candidate will help form the vision, roadmap and goals for the application/projects they will be aligned to, working with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver robust and sustainable business software solutions using agile techniques. They will also be responsible for ensuring requirements are appropriately understood, documented, owned, and actioned. This position will include membership within multiple agile delivery teams and will be responsible for ensuring that teams are practicing the right level of rigor, as well as drive continuous improvement activity.

Must-Haves:

  • Understand Project Deliverables, Client Coordination's, Financial, Project Budgeting, Estimations, Escalation management and able to deliver on commitments.
  • High degree of self accountability, able to learn quickly, analytical and being flexible to deliver on defined project scope.
  • Communicate with confidence and pay attention to details and follow-up on task without supervision.
  • Program/Project Management Certification if any
  • 5 years of experience in Agile techniques such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games etc.
  • Good Communication skills and experience with client communications handling.
  • Experience in working with JIRA, including creation and managements of epics and releases including experience with PI planning and management.
  • Previous experience in the financial services field preferred
  • Ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications interacting professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Technical capabilities: Candidate must be versed in technical concepts to be able to understand implementation details, including working knowledge of relational databases as well as have moderate SQL skills to self-sufficiently query and analyze data
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements using agile principles and techniques

Day To Day:

  • Play a key role in coordinating and managing meetings with business unit subject matter expert(s) in order to solicit and cross-reference business and functional requirements ensuring expectations are clearly understood and satisfied
  • Define and prioritize user stories for the scrum team utilizing applicable artefacts; Jira, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, Workflow, Business Rules, Software Specifications, etc.
  • Work in partnership with business stakeholders and the scrum team to ensure user stories are delivered in line with business requirements.
  • Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with business stakeholders and technology management.
  • Collaborate with technology team members, end users, and other stakeholders in the testing of new software programs and applications, including the coordination of UAT.
  • Review, analyze, and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop testing strategies for improving or leveraging these systems
  • Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, and end users
  • Work diligently to enhance or improve business processes via integration, or as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes Skills Required
  • Previous experience in the financial services field preferred

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $60 to $65 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
