Key Responsibilities
- Lead weekly meetings to review project cost and schedule risks, identifying necessary mitigation action plans.
- Drive mitigation efforts for cost and schedule risks, coordinating with functional owners and escalating issues when needed.
- Support Project and Cost Managers with risk action plans, updating them on cost and schedule variances.
- Coordinate with the Cost & Schedule Core Team to discuss project targets, forecasts, and risks, launching execution plans.
Requirements
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in contract interpretation and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in data analytics and Microsoft Office.
- Proven project leadership and risk mitigation capabilities.
- Excellent executive communication skills.
Preferences
- CAPM, PMP training, or other project management certification/coursework.
- Experience in the steam, nuclear, or gas power industry.
This is a contract position with an hourly pay structure, requiring 40 hours per week. The role is non-exempt with a bill rate-based program rate type. Interviews will be conducted in one round, with minimal domestic travel at 5%.
