Piper Companies is looking for a Project Manager III to join a federal research support company located in Dale County, Alabama.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager III include:
- Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of injury biomechanics RDT&E research projects
- Managing project schedules, budgets, timelines, risks, and deliverables
- Providing administrative and operational support for human subject, non‑human subject, cadaveric, and test & evaluation research efforts
- Coordinating with principal investigators, technical staff, leadership, and external partners while supporting reporting, documentation, data management, logistics, and lab activities
Qualifications for the Project Manager III include:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience supporting laboratory, research, or RDT&E environments
- Experience managing multiple projects, technical documentation, reporting, and project lifecycle activities
Compensation for Project Manager III includes:
- Rate Range: $43-57/hr, depending on experience
- Comprehensive Benefit Package: Cigna Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K, Sick Leave as Required by Law
