This position is based in APis New Brighton Minnesota office and supports the National Roofing and Siding line of business.The Project Manager II has direct responsibility for the successful delivery and financial performance of assigned construction projects. This position manages project scope schedule safety quality budget profitability and customer relationships from planning through closeout.The Project Manager II operates with a high level of independence and manages larger and more complex projects. The position also has leadership responsibilities including mentoring less-experienced project team members sharing best practices and helping improve project management processes. The roles primary accountability remains the successful execution of assigned projects.Project responsibilities may include supporting bid proposals developing project schedules and execution plans reviewing project progress managing change orders coordinating labor and materials overseeing subcontractors and tracking and forecasting project costs and profitability.ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsModel APis purpose of Building Great Leaders and culture of The Care Factor through collaboration accountability and genuine investment in team success.Partner with the Senior Project Manager and field leadership to promote safe efficient and profitable project execution.Support the onboarding and development of project management team members as needed.Participate in lessons-learned discussions and continuous-improvement initiatives that strengthen project execution across the National Roofing and Siding team.Develop and maintain long-range project plans and schedulesMonitor and manage projects tocomply withsafety quality productivity and profitability requirements.Monitor project billingsand collectionsfor accuracy andmaintaina positive cash flow.Continuallymonitorprogress of projects review reports to ensure compliance with schedule and budgetary guidelines.Identifychanges in projects thatimpactcost schedule or labor requirements.Make sure change orderschange estimates are completed intimelymanner.Conductproject planning reviews before during and after the project.Ensure workcomplies withcustomer specifications.Required Skills & AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.Thorough understanding of contracts drawings schedules and specifications.Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment exercise sound judgment under pressure and respond effectively to changing project needs.Prioritize competing demands analyze project information and develop practical solutions to complex challenges.Establish and maintain productive working relationships with customers field teams subcontractors and internal stakeholders.Provide day-to-day mentorship support and direction to less-experienced project team members.Education & ExperienceBachelors degree in Construction Management or similar field preferred.Five years of Project Management experience in the construction industryTravel Requirements This position is based in APis New Brighton Minnesota office.Travel to project sites customer locations and other APi locations is expected to average approximately two days per week.Travel frequency may vary based on project schedules and business needs.CompensationThe base salary range is 88300 - 132300 annually. This role is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity with a target potential of 15 of base salary based on individual and company performance and subject to the terms of the applicable incentive plan.Physical Requirements Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
