The Department of Community Resources (DCR) through its Community Resource Center, supports the core departments of Mecklenburg County Health and Human Services (HHS) in doing their business through an integrated service delivery model of subject-matter experts from each core department and community partners who provide services to County residents in our HHS Community Resource Center. In addition, DCR is responsible for administering Child Support Services, Economic Services, MeckSuccess, HOMES, and Unified Workforce Development programs, as well as Integrated Health and Human Services Mail Services.
Position Summary
Mecklenburg County''s Department of Community Resources is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Project Manager II to serve as a central point of coordination across Business Operations. Working closely with Business Managers, Management Analysts, program staff and internal and external stakeholders, this role ensures projects are executed on time, within scope and aligned with divisional priorities - spanning IT initiatives, enterprise document management, Automated Data Processing Plans, policy management, staff relocation projects, vendor coordination enterprise-wide administrative projects, and other projects/tasks as needed.
The Project Manager II will report directly to the Business Manager.

Essential Functions
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
Four years of experience in Project Management or as a Project Coordinator
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field
