The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead high-end residential and commercial projects from planning through completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on owning the full lifecycle of complex projects, balancing budgets, schedules, quality, and an exceptional client experience.

You will spend roughly 75% of your time in the office coordinating projects, working in software, and leading meetings, and about 25% of your time on job sites ensuring execution matches the plan. Your success will be measured by on-time delivery, profit margins, and outstanding client feedback, with clear visibility to leadership and strong opportunities for growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead all phases of assigned high-end residential and commercial projects, from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery at or above projected profitability.
• Develop, manage, and update project schedules, budgets, change orders, and cost forecasts to keep projects on track and transparent.
• Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and vendors, issue purchase orders, and monitor remaining subcontractor balances to protect margins.
• Oversee day-to-day job progress, quality, safety compliance, inspections, and permitting processes, addressing issues proactively in the field.
• Provide direction and support to the Superintendent and Assistant Project Manager while maintaining clear, proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like

• Within 6–12 months, you are independently managing multiple projects that consistently hit or exceed schedule and profitability targets.
• Clients rate their experience highly, leading to positive reviews, referrals, and repeat business for JLV Construction.
• Project documentation, forecasting, and billing are accurate, timely, and reliable, with minimal surprises for leadership or clients.
• You are a go-to leader for your project team, building strong relationships with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors, and contributing to continuous improvement of our processes.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent in high-end residential or commercial construction, with a track record of delivering projects successfully.
• BS or BA in Construction Management or equivalent professional experience, with strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, specifications, and sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and project delivery using construction management and estimating software (Co-Construct or Buildertrend experience is a plus).
• Strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive, solution-oriented, results-driven mindset, and bilingual English/Spanish ability highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary of $70,000–$85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Performance-based bonus opportunity up to 15% of base salary, tied to project profitability and positive client reviews.
• Full-time W-2 position.
