About TURNBRIDGE

TURNBRIDGE delivers precision-driven technical and delivery solutions that help organizations execute complex initiatives with confidence. We partner with clients across regulated and data-intensive industries to deliver high-quality outcomes through disciplined execution, deep domain expertise, and accountable delivery.

Role Overview

TURNBRIDGE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale technology implementations within the utilities industry. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of projects—from initiation and planning through execution, go-live, and stabilization—while ensuring alignment with contractual commitments, delivery standards, and client objectives.

The ideal candidate brings strong systems integrator experience, deep understanding of utility business processes, and hands-on leadership managing complex, cross-functional delivery teams in fast-paced environments.

This is a fully remote position.

Domain-Specific Requirements

  • Experience in the electric, gas, and/or water utility industry is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on implementation experience with one or more Oracle Utilities products, including:
  • Customer Care & Billing (CC&B)
  • Customer to Meter (C2M)
  • Customer Cloud Service (CCS)
  • Meter Data Management (MDM)
  • Field Activity Management (FAM)
  • Experience working on the Systems Integrator (SI) side of implementations, with a clear understanding of how consulting organizations scope, plan, deliver, and manage projects.
  • Familiarity with the full SDLC lifecycle for utility CIS/MDM/FAM implementations, including requirements, fit-gap analysis, configuration, data conversion, integrations, testing, and cutover/go-live.
  • Experience managing integrations with utility ecosystem systems such as:
  • AMI head-end systems (Itron, Sensus, Landis+Gyr)
  • GIS
  • OMS/WOMS
  • IVR platforms
  • Payment processors and print vendors
  • Strong understanding of utility business processes including billing, metering, service orders, field operations, collections, rate structures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working with enterprise software vendors (Oracle or similar), including managing vendor relationships, licensing considerations, and product roadmaps.
  • Ability to manage onshore and offshore delivery models, coordinating across time zones and cultures.
  • Experience delivering projects under fixed-price, time & materials, and blended contracts.
  • Familiarity with project financial management in a consulting environment, including margin management, change control, revenue forecasting, and scope management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and contribute to a scalable Project Management Office (PMO) framework.
  • Own end-to-end delivery success for assigned projects, ensuring value realization for clients.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans including tasks, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Drive project execution to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Proactively identify and remove delivery obstacles and operational impediments.
  • Provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders and leadership on project status, risks, budget, quality, and resource needs.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and cost changes through disciplined change control and documentation processes.
  • Establish and enforce structured risk, issue, and escalation management practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including charters, staffing plans, financial plans, risk logs, decision matrices, and status reports.
  • Review, approve, and track project deliverables and manage formal client acceptance.
  • Identify, secure, and allocate project resources to meet delivery objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Communicate organizational goals, project objectives, and role expectations to team members.
  • Mentor and coach team members, providing performance feedback and development support.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, delivery standards, and client requirements.
  • Support RFP and proposal efforts, including scoping, estimating, SOW development, and delivery planning.
  • Identify opportunities for additional service offerings and expanded engagements.
  • Contribute to the evolution of delivery methodologies, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Mid-level professional experience managing large, complex, cross-functional projects, with an emphasis on packaged software implementations.
  • Experience delivering commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software implementations, including project pivots and remediation efforts.
  • Exposure to the utilities industry, utilities software implementations, or utilities data management solutions preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Expert knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience guiding Agile or hybrid delivery teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively with limited information and ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead enterprise-level, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to facilitate creative problem-solving with subject matter experts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience).

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising project team members, including full-time employees and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, Six Sigma, or other project management certification.
  • Experience in professional services or management consulting.
  • Deep utilities industry experience.
  • Experience with ITIL framework-based service delivery.
  • Operational knowledge of the Oracle Utilities product suite.
