Title: Project Manager Finance Transformation
Location: Remote / Marlborough MA 01752
Duration: 6 Months with Possible extension

Position Summary :
  • Seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Project Manager to support the execution of the Master Data and Organizational Change Management (OCM) workstreams within the Finance Transformation program.
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for driving execution discipline, coordinating cross-functional activities, managing dependencies, maintaining governance processes, and ensuring leadership has clear visibility into program progress, risks, issues, and decisions.
  • This role requires strong project management capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate effectively across multiple workstreams in a complex transformation environment. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to business and functional leaders while ensuring delivery against critical transformation milestones.

Required Qualifications:
Experience
  • 7 years of project or program management experience.
  • Demonstrated success supporting complex business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong experience operating within structured project governance frameworks.
Preferred Experience
  • Finance Transformation programs.
  • ERP implementation or ERP readiness initiatives.
  • Master Data Governance (MDG) programs.
  • Organizational Change Management initiatives.
  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or highly regulated industries.
  • PMO, program governance, or executive reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities :
Program Planning & Execution
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans for Master Data and OCM initiatives.
  • Drive execution against milestones, deliverables, and transformation objectives.
  • Monitor and track project progress, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure project teams remain aligned on priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms, dashboards, and performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate activities across Finance, IT, Business Operations, and external partners.
  • Manage interdependencies between Master Data, Change Management, and related transformation workstreams.
  • Facilitate issue resolution and escalation management.
  • Ensure alignment of activities, schedules, and deliverables across stakeholder groups.
Governance & Leadership Support
  • Prepare materials and updates for leadership reviews and governance meetings.
  • Maintain project governance documentation, including:
  • Project plans
  • RAID logs
  • Decision logs
  • Action registers
  • Executive status reports
  • Support decision-making processes by ensuring risks, issues, and recommendations are clearly documented and communicated.
Status Reporting & Communications
  • Lead recurring project status meetings and document outcomes.
  • Provide concise executive-level reporting on progress, risks, decisions, and resource needs.
  • Develop and distribute project communications to stakeholders.
  • Ensure transparency and alignment through consistent communication and reporting practices.
Organizational Change Management Support
  • Partner with change management leadership to coordinate:
  • Stakeholder engagement activities
  • Communication plans
  • Training initiatives
  • Readiness assessments
  • Adoption tracking and reporting
  • Ensure change management activities are integrated with business and project milestones.
Risk, Issue & Decision Management
  • Facilitate proactive identification and management of risks and issues.
  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans with stakeholders.
  • Track decisions and ensure clear ownership and follow-through.
  • Escalate significant concerns that may impact timelines, scope, budget, or outcomes.
