Project Manager
Pay Rate: $45 - $50 per hour, W2
Duration: 3 Month Contract
Location: Fayetteville, GA
Work Mode: Onsite

It is important to note: Commercial Security experience is required for this in person role.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project administration of all current and/or future installations of Fire and/or Security, CCTV, Card Access & other specialty systems.
  • May supervise other PMs as needed on projects.
  • Provide coaching/mentoring for other PMs within the group.
  • Effectively plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects using appropriate principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Proactively communicate project requirements to the project team and wider stakeholders.
  • Develop appropriate planning documents including project plans, scope documents, SOWs, charters, Execution Playbooks, etc.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize impact and control deviations.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies, and services for timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Establish project milestones and analyze costs; adjust project plans and/or cost estimates as necessary.
  • Manage Monitoring and Controlling aspects of a project including issue/risk identification and resolution, change management, reporting, and communication.
  • Ensure effective Quality Assurance/Quality Control mechanisms are in place and adhered to.
  • Execute project closeout activities including turnover to appropriate operations teams.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Security experience is required.
  • High-level domain knowledge/expertise in the commercial security industry.
  • Demonstrated history of Project Management leadership including leading multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of the electronic security industry.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and set priorities in a highly deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) and negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of sales, installation, billing, and monitoring systems for managing National Accounts.
  • Intermediate MS Office and Project skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum 5 years experience in the alarm industry and project management.
  • Advanced electronic security industry knowledge.
  • Construction experience preferred.
  • CSPM or PMP certification preferred.
