Are you passionate about construction and project management? Do you have an astute understanding of the intricacies of concrete, roadway, and highway construction? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Permanent Project Manager/Estimator. This role requires a seasoned professional who can effectively manage subcontractors, oversee plant management, and ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager/Estimator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

1. Providing detailed estimates that incorporate concrete, construction, roadway, and highway operations.
2. Managing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
3. Coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project objectives and timelines.
4. Creating comprehensive bid summaries, incorporating all project costs and timelines.
5. Ensuring all operations comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
6. Implementing and overseeing strict health and safety protocols, ensuring all staff adhere to these standards.
7. Utilizing Bid2Win software to streamline the estimating and bidding process.
8. Managing all aspects of the project from inception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within the specified timeline and budget.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience in concrete, construction, roadway, and highway operations.
3. Experience in managing subcontractors and overseeing plant operations.
4. Proficiency in creating detailed bid summaries.
5. Familiarity with DOT regulations.
6. A strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
7. Experience with Bid2Win or similar estimating software.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each is completed on time and within budget.
10. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
