Project Manager / Estimator - Heavy Civil Concrete Construction

A well-established heavy civil concrete contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join its growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing projects from estimating and preconstruction through final completion while working on challenging structural concrete, bridge, utility, and heavy civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and competitive bids.
• Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field crews, and internal teams.
• Oversee field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, municipalities, and DOT agencies.
• Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout each project.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager, Estimator, or Project Engineer in heavy civil or concrete construction.
• Strong background in structural concrete, utility concrete, bridge construction, flatwork, or public infrastructure projects.
• Experience estimating and managing DOT and municipal projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
