Purpose:

Project & Program Management
Technical & Engineering Oversight
Provide technical oversight for the design, integration, installation, and sustainment of enterprise electronic security systems.
Coordinate closely with engineering personnel to ensure technical solutions align with customer requirements and applicable standards.
Review system designs, bills of material, statements of work, drawings, and technical submittals.
Support engineering reviews, design validation, and system integration planning activities.
Understand and oversee integration of systems including:
Access Control Systems (ACS)
Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
Video Surveillance / Video Management Systems (CCTV/VMS)
Alarm Monitoring Systems
Intercom and Communications Systems
IP-based security networks and infrastructure
Support system commissioning, acceptance testing, and troubleshooting activities as required.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards including UFC requirements, DoD physical security requirements, and customer-specific specifications.
Customer & Team Leadership
Required Qualifications:
Must have minimum 8 years of experience managing technical projects supporting Federal Government customers.
Must have minimum 5 years of experience managing electronic security system projects in DoD, DoS, or other high-security federal environments.
Must have strong understanding of integrated electronic security system architectures, installation practices, and lifecycle support.
Must have demonstrated experience managing projects involving:
Access Control Systems
Intrusion Detection Systems
CCTV / Video Management Systems
Networked IP-based security infrastructure
Must have strong knowledge of project management methodologies, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Must have experience coordinating engineering, installation, and commissioning activities.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Experience with design-build or large-scale infrastructure modernization projects
Familiarity with government contracting and federal acquisition processes
Experience with enterprise security platforms such as:
Lenel OnGuard
Milestone XProtect
Genetec Security Center
Hirsch Velocity
AMAG Symmetry
OSHA 30 Certification
Experience supporting proposal development and technical solutioning
Familiarity with Costpoint or similar project/accounting systems
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher
