Summary
The Electronic Security Project Manager plays a key role in coordinating and delivering integrated security projects - including access control, video surveillance, intercom, and related systems. You'll work closely with sales, engineering, field technicians, and customers to ensure every project runs smoothly from kickoff to closeout.
This is an ideal role for someone who's managed construction or technology projects, or who's worked in the field as an installer or technician and is ready to take the next step into project management.
Responsibilities
- Manage electronic security projects from planning through completion
- Coordinate schedules, materials, and resources with internal teams and subcontractors
- Communicate regularly with customers, provide updates and maintain strong relationships
- Review drawings, submittals, and change orders to keep projects on track and within scope
- Collaborate with sales and estimating during handoff and throughout project execution
- Oversee installation progress and quality standards in coordination with field technicians
- Track project budgets, timelines, and documentation through D-Tools and SharePoint
- Supporting close-out documentation, commissioning, and customer training
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, construction management, or a related role
- Background in electronic security, low-voltage systems, or access control is highly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a team-first mindset
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with D-Tools or similar software is a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record Required
