Position responsible for overseeing projects in the design management section and providing technical engineering assistance related to design management activities for transportation, environmental, traffic, and stormwater projects throughout Marion County.
Position Responsibilities
- Design management of local, federal, multi-modal, transportation, structural, and stormwater projects.
- Design specification and plan interpretation, scheduling, and planning related to infrastructure projects.
- Ensures that all design management activity is performed on schedule, within budgetary limits, and in accordance with current statutes, ordinances, specifications, and contract requirements.

Qualifications
- Technical degree/certification or five plus (5+) years of related work experience required.
- Possession of Professional Engineer license in the state of Indiana is preferred, but not required.
- The position requires extensive knowledge of City, State, and FHWA policies and specifications as they relate to construction of City infrastructure.
- The position requires excellent oral and written skills in addition to excellent conflict resolution skills.
