Key Responsibilities

Reporting to senior operations leadership, the Project Manager - Mechanical Construction will take full ownership of multiple projects and act as the commercial and operational lead throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the delivery of large, complex mechanical projects from pre‑construction through close‑out
  • Take full responsibility for project budgets, forecasting, cost control, billings and cash flow
  • Manage contract administration, change management, procurement and subcontractor negotiations
  • Oversee project scheduling, labour resourcing, productivity and field coordination
  • Lead and develop high‑performing Project Managers, Engineers and support staff
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, vendors and subcontractors
  • Drive continuous improvement across project controls, processes and operational performance

Profile



The Successful Applicant

For the Project Manager - Mechanical Construction, we are seeking:
  • Extensive experience delivering mechanical construction projects within an MEP contractor environment
  • 15+ years' relevant project management experience, including responsibility for multiple large projects
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven ownership of budgets, forecasts, billings and cash positions
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing autonomous teams and senior project staff
  • Ability to negotiate complex commercial and contractual matters with senior stakeholders
  • High level of organisation, attention to detail and the ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong systems experience, ideally with ERP and project management platforms (e.g. Viewpoint, Bluebeam, CAD / VDC tools)
  • Degree‑qualified or equivalent combination of education and hands‑on industry experience

Candidate must be able to travel to multiple states as needed.
