Our client is seeking a Project Manager with 5+ years of commercial construction experience to lead sophisticated corporate interior and renovation projects throughout the Washington DC/Northern Virginia market. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven builder with strong GC experience who can step into active projects, manage client relationships, and drive successful project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

Description

The Project Manager - Corporate Interiors Construction - NoVA will:

  • Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
  • Lead sophisticated interior fit-outs, office renovations, building repositioning projects, and facility upgrades.
  • Coordinate project teams including subcontractors, consultants, vendors, owners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and reporting documentation.
  • Oversee project financials including contract administration, change orders, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Facilitate client meetings and serve as the primary point of contact throughout project execution.
  • Collaborate with field operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously as workload increases and project complexity grows.
  • Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project to support project planning, tracking, and documentation.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered with a strong focus on communication, accountability, and operational excellence.

Profile

The Project Manager - Corporate Interiors Construction - NoVA will have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial General Contractor.
  • Proven experience managing corporate interior renovations, tenant improvements, or commercial fit-out projects.
  • Ability to independently lead projects and quickly integrate into an active project portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Experience working with architects, brokers, landlords, developers, and commercial end users.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of the DC, Northern Virginia, or surrounding Mid-Atlantic construction market is highly preferred.
  • Experience with projects ranging from approximately $1M-$20M is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
