The Siemens Digital Industries Factory Automation business group serves its customer base with Siemens products sold individually or packaged into custom designed control systems. For these control systems, Siemens utilizes project managers that ensure these systems are delivered to customer specifications. We are looking for a Project Manager to deliver custom control systems to Siemens customers. This position could be performed from several cities but a preference will be for locations in MI, OH, GA or PA. You'll make an impact by: Managing multiple projects simultaneously to keep them on schedule and budget, while delivering a solution that meets the customer's specifications Providing customer proposals with a customer supplied bill of material list and customer net pricing obtained from our SAP system Entering the order into our SAP system and tracking the ordering of all components purchased by Siemens or its panel assembly vendor Candidate must be detail oriented and capable of maintaining accuracy of BOM generation and tracking potentially late arriving materials far enough in advance to have options for alternatives Leading a Teams meeting with customers each week where you give a report of project status including when each component will arrive for assembly and the projected completion date You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with control systems. This could include design, project management or logistical support 2+ years experience with providing technical proposals to customers that include bills of material, pricing and INCO termsHigh school diploma or equivilant GED required Potential to 15-20% travel depending on applicant's location and distance from control panel assembly vendors Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience managing technical projects that involve bills of material, managing control panel assembly sites, establishing and maintaining a project schedule with weekly updates.2+ years of experience with SAP as an ERP systemTechnical degree or years of experience that provide proof of technical skills.
